Anybody have real tips for Talon players in the zed matchup for preseason? This matchup used to be a ton of fun, but lately it seems very difficult for me to pull off. Any item tips or play style advice from actual Talon players would be appreciated. I'm suspecting that at the moment the best idea is not to play the matchup.
I play them both, it is a skill matchup, but Talon has the favour, I would say 65% win for Talon, 35% for Zed.
When his W is down, you can engage him for trade, when his Q is down, engage him if you can. Post 6 Talon destroys Zed, engage him and damage him, wait for his ult, when he pops behind you use your ult and AA him and its gg free kill. Avoid his poke and W E Q combo and punish him right away.
