Was Soraka DMG ninja buffed?
That or I need glasses. I've gone through the patch notes and I don't see anything about a soraka buff on the live servers, but her damage/poke seems to have went up substantially. That and her mana pool is endless.

Aery helps a lot, which almost every soraka will take.
That or Arcane Comet, it deals more damage and the enemy can't really dodge it because q slows.
idk about soraka but janna certainly has pretty absurd poke.
infact i completely hate her "rework", she is effectively impossible to hit with any skillshot unless she is afk..
Soraka main here. I agree soraka is tricky to lane against. Her Q cast time scales inversely with the distance her enemy is from her ie. the closer you are the more reliable it is. Try staying at a distance to keep her from landing her Q. Her heals are pretty weak early game unless she lands her Q on you. Grabbing champs ruin her since her only laning style is to hard poke to keep her ADC alive.
