Announcement for Team Fight Tactic got me thinking - whatever happened to nexus blitz? The game mode was fast paced and fun, so for the most part I really thought it would be a stapled addition to the game. It had been months since it was taken out and now a new, permanent game mode is added in its stead?
I doubt TFT will be a perm game mode, even with it being stupidly popular on the PBE
they'll have some quests centered around it, people will do those and then likely only touch it when they want to play league but not play league
NB was fun, but the issue was that, once everyone did the quests, the game mode dropped in popularity, because no one had a real reason to play it
the same will likely happen to TFT
