What Keystone for rework Taric?
It's really not that easy for me to decide, so I guess I might as well start a discussion about it. Always considering this is about Support Taric, there are 3 Keystones that are ok on him:
Windspeakers Blessing - His Q is castready after 1 - 2 Passive uses and offers an AoE heal, which procs AoE Windspeakers buff, that's hilariously effective in longer fights as your team will get so many bonus resistances for most of the time just because you say so. In lane, you can use it to make your ADC take a lot of hits and allow for more favorable trades. I usually max Bastion out first to get maximum efficiency out of it and so far, this is my go to Keystone.
Bond of Stone - Tank Supports usually like that one if they have some from of selfsustain in their kit. Old Taric worked great with it, as his selfcast heal was stupidly powerful. Now, his heal sucks and should maxed out last, no matter what. That again leaves you only with your W for reliable self sustain, but I feel Windspeakers does make more sense for this job. The big plus for this Keystone is that it guarantees you helping out in bigger teamgihts as you can soak quite some damage with it. Also, going 18 into Resolve allows you to get Legendary Guardian and get up to 15 Armor and MR in teamfight situations, which scales well with your abilities. I personally feel, this one is more effective when you have a team that runs 3 Tanks and 2 damage dealers, Windspeakers seems to be better for squishier teams. Honestly, I haven't used it on him since the rework, but I'm curious what others think about it.
Strengh of Ages - Last but not least, I've seen a couple of Tank Support run this Keystone to make up for their poor average level in game and lack of combat stats as Support tend to be poor as duck.. 300 Bonus HP help a lot when it comes to fights, especially when you're meant to be in the front and facetank for your team. Taric doesn't have many tank steriods outside Bastion, and when fully stacked, your shield gets like ... 36 Bonus HP? That's nothing compared to what
W or
W do offer to them. To me, it doesn't seem to have much value for Taric over the other Keystones and thus makes it the least favorable option for him overall in my opinion.
Well, that are my thoughts and opinions. Now I'd like to hear what your experiences with him are and which Keystones you prefer.
