Lack of Team Ranked 5v5

Why is the hell was Ranked 5v5 teams taken out like thats just stupid... I understand that you can que up with 5 in shitty dynamic que but what if you have a friend who is like plat or diamond and you're silver or gold that wants to play with you guys, Yeah there is always smurfing but what is someone doesnt want to level another account to do that shit,
