What is a "Makeup" FWOTD?

So, I lost after this 40 some odd minute game and I got a "Makeup" first win of the day. It was my first game of they day and my actual first win of the day mission was still available. I got the bonus 400 exp and 50 be still. I'm level 62 if that matters at all.

So yeah, why the heck did this happen?

Look in your completed missions tab for the story. Long story short you get 400xp and 50be for free.
