Okay. It's 2015. You nerfed smurfing. How do DC'ers and leavers STILL fuck people over in ranked?

The thought process behind not giving leavers/DC'ers the ELO loss before was people could just smurf and then the smurf could leave resulting in no penalty. Sure, stupid reason to begin with.. but alright.

Now, extreme smurfing has been eliminated making it even MORE unlikely that the duo would just up and leave considering they have to be much closer to eachother in rating and it's doubtful they would just throw it away.

Now of course I'm making this because it just happened to me. Twice. In my first two promos from Plat V to Plat IV making me instantly lose the series with literally nothing I could do about it. First game our mid just didn't connect, second game our top lane Irelia (named Positura) connected late and then left after dying once saying "Just gonna leave, peace".

How is this still a thing in this bloody game?

well solutions dont exist it banning them wont stop a completely different person from afking in your next game unles they are banning people BEFORE they even enter a game... then thats some psychopass shit right there

loss prevent/lower LP loss is a possibility but then this leads to abuse such as black sheeeps in duo queues or if soloq, we will be seeing the black sheep status forced on to individual through harassment... people are terrible so its probably gonna happen

mute and verbal abuse reports exist for a reason srsbsns

if someone LETS themself get "forced" into losing 50-100 lp for leaving, maybe they need to rethink their (dis)use of the in-game anti-toxicity functions.
