coming back after 5 months

so after several months of not playing this at all i would like to hear from the community about the changes that are critical for me to know about before venturing into this game again. i used to play veigar, mordekaiser and jinx a lot. i havent read all the notes so i dont know if there have been new interesting items added during this period. also, has the community matured somehow? or do we still get the same trolls and the same toxicity as before?
