I've stopped being mad at Riot for all their gameplay changes.
It's not a point of forgiveness or anything it's because I've realized that what seems to be the majority of changes happen either because the players are either to stupid to understand something or are assholes abusing something else.
Now of course there are plenty of us who are in that middle ground. The people who say "I'm not going to be a jackass and I'm going to read the patch notes." The sad part about those of us in the middle ground is that we have to suffer from the idiots and the assholes because there are just so many of them.
Many problems are on Riot's fault like how they ignore some pretty good feedback but then again when most of the feedback is "Hang X employee for Y!" I can understand how they'd just walk away.
My league play has massively declined every since I discovered this and the preseason is a bit of testament to what I'm saying. Certain things have been removed because people just couldn't be bothered or didn't know how to use them and now that somethings OP no one will stop using them until they are nerfed.
Also notice how the title says gameplay. I know I'm not the only one but I really like the old lore with the Institute of War. Some of my favorites games are those who acknowledge the players in the universe. I also really liked the tension slowly building up between Noxus and Demacia. Hopefully the new lore can do it just as well or better. People do seem to be liking it so far.
Again, Riot spends alot of it's time in the wrong but the player base seems to spend the majority of it's time there.
