New Rune System and Honor System
Just watched this video and I have to say the new honor system sounds pretty solid. I'm sure in dynamic queue and stuff where you can have all pre-made it might get a few abuse cases. But in solo queue for the most part it should work really well and be a great way to remind teammates to show their appreciation and to not be unnecessarily rude to others.
As for keystones, I am not sure what to make of the very limited info we got. I can see cases where champs will maybe snowball harder with these changes and possibly champs who still have no S tier keystone for them. For example - if a vayne snowballs early and gets all that free attack speed from her keystone? Good luck tanking that damage OR having the burst to out-trade her. Vice versa, say a champ takes a keystone that works well to boost their early game snowball potential even though it doesn't work as well with their end game build compared to some other champ's ability to use the keystone. Now say that champ gets camped and therefore cannot make propper use of their keystone early to win the lane advantage they need. This makes their keystone much less useful. I guess it happens to some extent now, but it might get worse if new rune keystones are as strong as they make them out to be in the vid. Maybe that's the price you have to pay - but it can probably leave some champs such as tanky bruisers in a tough spot. Maybe that's just meant to be part of what makes strategy so key. Regardless, I guess it is nice that at least you can adjust runes in champ select.
