Sightstone is good... but feels like a chore.

As a support building sightstone is an important part of your role and I consider one of the best items in the game. As a support main I've built this item so many times and it feels more like a chore than an cool item, I think it would be great if supports got some options, like boots but more support oriented. (this would replace the normal health bonus) Ex: gold sightstone: +50 gold for each ward placed, magic sightstone +30 ap etc. These are not really balanced but this is my general idea, to give supports more choice and or make sighstone more viable in other lanes maybe. Please comment your thoughts I'd like too know others opinions.

Some say vision > gold spent so an item worth more than its cost in gold needs a buff?

I could see them giving a bit more love to Sightstone 2.0 instead of Ruby. A Thresh-themed Sightstone could either recharge as opponent's die, or instantly drop a new type of ward (not towards the 3/1 limit) when a champion dies A Crystal Scar/Skarner-Themed Sightsone that allows you to "Convert" an opponent's wards into your own. A Brand-Themed Sightstone that "Burns down" any bush that it's placed in, that "burns down" a bush for your team for a longer than normal period of time, while the opposing team sees a cloud of smoke (acts the same as bush... but basically, you can slowly burn down all the bushes in a lane or in a chunk of jungle for better visibility for your team)
