Void Portal??

So I tried everything with these little things, Placing them in jungle and they make it to lane and disappear, place it close to turret they attack minions?? Then i place them right next to turret enemy destroys it in the time it takes to create one.... So please tell me how to use them or is this just a joke..?

Place them near turrets but out of their range.

place them about one screen from the turret and STAY WITH IT to defend it. The voidlings will attack the minions, but once they gt to a tower they will attack that.
