How do I get out of silver?

I could say "title" and leave it at that, but I want to elaborate. I am a Silver 3 player that wants to get to gold, at least, this season. But I find my team losing their lane, alot, and the enemies then are able to beat me up late game, and I can't really do anything about it, and it leads to a lot of losses. I don't like blaming people, I don't tilt, but I just can't seem to make any progress in ranked. What should I do to climb out of silver alone? (I don't have anyone to duo with)

You need to play a hard-snowballing champion, every game. You have to win your lane, HARD, every game. You cannot die to ganks, period, every game. You need to hit at least 80 cs at 10 mins, every game, and stomp on your lane so hard that you get first blood tower, every game. You need to take rift, every game, and use it to kill bot lane tower, every game. You need to track the enemy jungler and make plays on them when they are low, every game, and counterjungle, every game. You need to be doing something proactive whenever you shove your lane out, every game. You need to delay your back til the last possible moment, so you can get as much done while you are on the map, every game. You need to have perfect mechanics, and take maximum advantage of every single mistake that every player on the enemy team makes, every game.

Basically, in order to escape Silver in any reasonable amount of time, you need to bump your play up to Diamond 1 / Master level, every game. Don't be fooled though, it doesn't mean you'll reach Diamond 1 / Master, because after being silver for so long, your MMR will be averaged out to Silver level after so many games, and eventually you will hit a wall where you start losing more LP for a loss than you gain for a win.

Doing what the above poster mentioned will get you to silver 2 if riot is feeling really fucking generous and you are lucky.

I dunno man. There's no easy answer if your account has any age at all to it. You could try switching to flex, but it won't help. I did that, and in my silver 5 -> silver 4 placements I was matched up against a diamond 5 duo bot lane. Next game had a plat 1 adc. In my Silver 5 to Silver 4 placements. Or there was a game where I had a mid draven with 12 cs at 11 minutes. It was his first time playing ranked. Basically I'm all for them completely scrapping the matchmaking and ranked stuff at this point, because they obviously had no idea what they were doing when they wrote it the first time.

I placed in SII and got out of it in 1.5 weeks to G5.

I did so mostly playing Mid lane Viktor Vladimir and bot lane MissFortune.

I think you just need to pick someone with a very strong mid-late team fight (tons of AOE)... smash your lane and then carry the team fights.
