Riot ruined Aatrox

I'm writing this because I have just played the new Aatrox that was released with patch 7.5, and as an Aatrox main I am truly disappointed. Riot has yet again ruined another champion that I play. Last season I got to plat 2 using Aatrox and I really do believe he was a good champion but could have used some tweaks. All they had to do was make Aatrox's Q uninterruptible and maybe upgrade some of his base stats. If they did this Aatrox would be a big force in the top lane. Instead they completely changed his passive. Apparently in riot's mind getting a burst of attack speed for 4 seconds is better than having increased attack speed the more you fill the blood well. Riot has made blood well completely useless. Now the only way you can fight is to wait until you can stack your blood well and try to kill your target in those 4 seconds, which to me is ridiculous. They lowered his W damage and made there be no cost, even though cost was never an issue. They lowered his E damage considerably for some reason. I really don't know what riot was thinking here. I can't see this new Aatrox being even close to viable in any match up. Before if he was used right he had considerable snowball potential if he got a lead in the early game, now the champion just seems useless at all stages. Not to mention they removed him tripling his lifesteal when below 50% health which removes any outplay potential that he had. I really believe Riot messed up on this and made a fun champion into a completely useless one, and I am sad as an Aatrox main that I can no longer play him.
