Why is Riot making the ranked system so different from league to league?

Dynamic queue and the future of League

This is my response to the recent post regarding Dynamic Q and the future of competitive LoL

For those of you who havnt seen this yet, Riot will not be implementing SoloQ back into the game, and they are instead going to restrict the higher elo's in ranked. First of all you will only be able to play solo, duo or trio in Diamond+. I personally like this as it means the matchmaking will be alot more fair. But i still have some big issues with this.

_Why only change the ranked Q in Diamond+? _

Why are they only making these restrictions in Diamond+, when so many players would prefer not to play with or against 4-5 man premades. Not only that, but how is it fair that a Platinum 1 player can duo with a Gold 5? In Diamond its changed so you can only play ranked together with someone who is within 2 divisions of your own ranking, why is this not a thing in all leagues? It could eventually be expanded to a league difference, but more than that seems ridiculous.

Where can i play with a team in a competitive environment now?

As a high diamond player, where am i supposed to play in a competitive environment with my friends now? Earlier i could play with my friends in team ranked, no matter what rank they were, and i would still be able to enjoy the competitive environment, now i cant even do that in Dynamic Q, which was the main reason why Dynamic Q was implemented in the first place.

Honestly, why are they making such differences when it comes to restrictions in the different elos. I would prefer to have these restrictions, and it would seem more fair if it was the same in all leagues, instead i would love to have Ranked Teams back.

Riot i love your game, and i have spend countless of hours on it over the past 2-3 years. This is my favorite game of all time, and i have made a big efford to get to where i am now. Ive sided with you on almost everything, but can you please listen to the community?

Sincerely, Nikolai
