I'd like to see some evidence that Lee Sin is actually a problem

Lee Sin (The Blind Monk) - Champions - League of Legends

That link is for Lee Sin's Diamond solo queue performances for the last month. The much maligned Nautilus is actually doing slightly better. I understand that there's this "story line" that Lee Sin is crowding out other champions but it sure looks like we've all just succumbed to group think. We're fooled by the early game power into thinking that's all there is. Maybe the real story is that Lee Sin's late game is so bad that his early game power doesn't make up for it? Right now, the two highest win rate junglers are Amumu (for everything below platinum) and Nunu in Plat and RekSai / JarvanIV in Diamond.

Jarvan's power could use a slight brush to it but, really, his win rate of 52.8% isnt exactly dominant. Nunu's at 54% and the chorus of call for Nunu nerfs is pretty tame.

Lee Sin just doesn't seem to be a problem. Let's let the meta resolve a little bit while also gently buffing certain tank junglers one at a time. I don't think we need a crazy broad fix. Just enough brushes to smooth out the rough edges.

Edit: This might even be a better link. http://www.lolking.net/charts?region=all&type=jungle-matchup&range=daily&map=sr&queue=1x1&league=diamond

that's the jungler matchups. You can see that Lee Sin is literally a losing choice in virtually every head to head jungle matchup AND you can see that Jarvan's win % is largely as high as it is because of his very favorable matchup to Lee Sin.

Win rates are only part of the picture. You've also got to consider pick/ban rates. K/D/A Damage done. Healing done. Crits dealt to champions. CS, towers, dragons, barons, ect.

There's a much bigger picture to consider.

The problem isn't his winrate or whatnot.

The problem is - At what point in game is Lee Sin bad? He has no so called weak point (mages have lategame fall off, tanks have weak clearing, assassins are squishy as hell, adcs have stupidly good scaling etc etc).

Lee Sin is ALWAYS a threat no matter what point in the game it is. Early game, he is an incredibly potent duelist due to high base damages, a goddamn execute, and has a ton of utlity packed into his kit. Midgame? He can make plays with Dragon's Rage and still has a % health execute. Late game? He can be a tanking, peeling, annoying menace for your carries.

So as I stated, the problem isn't that Lee has good winrates kdas or whatnot. Its that there is no weakness. He is always viable no matter what point in the game it is and has incredible consistency as a result.
