Being low on farm used to show how your skill was determined

Back then, players who would be getting about 8-10 cs/m every game were considered smurfs and usually were diamond elo players. Today thats all changed. Now roaming dignifies your skill level. If youre straight up getting 3-5 cs/m but roaming constantly, you will make it to diamond and will be getting 10+ kills every game. Going for 10 cs/m a game wont even get you out of gold today, its all about roaming. Everyone does insane damage right now, that having a CS advantage doesnt even matter when you can get 1v1d anyways. What matters is using your one shot "skill" as a roaming device to win other lanes. For me, this is how you can tell the game is going to bad. Skill is on the low, brain dead is on the high. Where you get punished for being good (bounties), where farming is valued less than roaming, its honestly sad how this game is developing. I don't know how Riot doesn't see how boring their game is becoming, the fact that they dont even respond to criticism on their only game makes feel like they just dont care anymore.
