An set of Ideas for items for ADC's
I wanted to post a set of ideas about new items and reworks to other items that I think could help strengthen ADC's and the idea of being a tank To start I want to say critical strike should not give true damage. This idea is a bane to ADC's and tanks. I feel that the role of marksmen/ ADC vs tanks and brawlers should be the idea of critical strike or penetration, does the ADC want to rip the health to shred bc they have low armor or penetrate their armor because they're not dealing enough damage hurt the tanky.
With this, I believe there should be a couple Item's to change or add:
To start an item like
Wit's End although it should be designed for Armor, with this Idea the Item should,
instead of stealing armor, it should give a flat amount of armor
a flat amount of attack speed
and then take away a flat amount of armor (similar also to
black cleaver)
This item would give ADC's a choice to penetrate a tanks defense, over grabbing penetration or lifesteal.
Another thing would be the change of all critical strike items
For one I feel like critical strike should be the amazing shot that hit perfectly and not something you do every hit.
For starters, I feel like
Infinity edge should revert back to giving bonus critical strike damage, along with only giving either 35% or 45% critical strike chance.
Along with this both
Phantom Dancer and
Runaan's Hurricane should only give 30% or 35% critical strike chance
and both
Rapid fire Cannon and
Statikk Shive should only give 25% or 30% critical strike chance
If the lower chances are used and a user went with an Energized Strike Crit and the infinity edge build they would end up with around 85% giving the champion power but allowing a chance that they won't always dish out a perfect shot
And with a build using both 30% items and infinity edge at 35%, the user would be at 95% chance giving and almost 100% feel but adding in the chance they miss a critical shot (which sounds more logical)
Also as a side note and Item that gives lifesteal only on critical strikes could also be a very nice idea.
On another Standpoint I feel like there should be some love for penetrating Magic Resistance
I feel like there is little diversity for magic users to penetrate High armor, although there are a lot of ways for them to overpower it I feel like it shouldn't be like that.
I wanted to give an idea for an Item similar to
black cleaver
but instead would rip away magic resist when hit with an Ability or magic damage
The stats that I thought would work would be
200 or 400 Mana
60 AP
40 magic resist
I feel like they're already a lot of Items that give CDR for Magic users so I didn't think another item would be much use in that.
All in all, I hope riot can take some of my idea's into consideration and I hope that ADC's and tanks can feel better within League of legends.
