Twisted Treeline and Crystal Scar Updates

Any chance on Twisted Treeline and Crystal Scar receiving the same attention as Summoner's Rift?

I get the reasoning for wanting to balance the game to 1 map and to funnel the audience into a limited number of queues to reduce wait times. I think, however, with SR being such a time commitment, with average games lasting 30-40 minutes, it would be nice to have the alternative maps be of the same quality as SR since they provide much shorter experiences. I think it would expand and retain the audience since having these 2 modes being of equivalent quality to SR would provide more convenient gaming experiences for those who don't have time for SR and stave off boredom from the game in general.

Also, I think for newer players, having such a significant gradient in quality between maps undermines the quality of the game as a whole since when you unlock access to those maps, you want to try everything that the game has to offer, only to realize that SR and ARAM are the only maps worthwhile.

With Rito burning the development candle at both ends, in remaking the old stuff and cranking out new stuff, I get that they're plate is full; however, it seems like they are rapidly approaching a level of stability with SR that they really haven't had before. The graphics style will hold for years to come, the items have brought old champions back into the fold, vision and support is better than its ever been, and the jungle has nuance, diversity and strategy. I think the major revisions that they've been making since the start of Season 4 are going to become fewer and fewer.

So the question is, why not start focusing on the alternative maps?

If anyone decides to read this, what do you think? Are TT and CS worth updating? Is SR complete from a major development perspective or do you think, it will continue to undergo major fluctuations over the next few years? How do you define the meta for these 2 maps since none has really developed yet and what does that mean for the current champion pool?

(I fully don't expect a Rioter to respond to this, since the topic might provoke flame wars, but any insider perspective would be much appreciated.)

Sure, especially CS, since that map is from 2011. About a third of the champions are younger than CS.

Most likely, Riot's going to continue throwing resources at SR rather than support alternate maps.

Do you mean in terms of full map redesigns? Because TT and CS have had established metas for years. Their metas just aren't as rigidly-defined as SR's.

I think they both need updates, but Crystal Scar>Twisted Treeline. Crystal Scar could also use some gameplay adjustments to make it a tad bit more interesting. If you ask me, the reason they've been holding out so long on it is that the audience for those maps is significantly smaller than Summoner's Rift, and since those updates would take so much time, they don't want to frustrate the majority to please the minority.
