Last season i mained Offmeta-Jungle Leona to somewhere in plat, with a pretty large sample size of games played, and a well over 50% winrate. At the time it was viable, and i really connected with it. So much so, that it was the only thing i enjoyed playing for the entirety of the season.

The introduction of Runes Reforged would be the end of my days playing Leona in any off meta role. The patch completely eviscerated the viability of Leona being anything but a Aftershock tank support, i ended up quitting for a lil while before finding a new champion to main in a offmeta way. Still haven't been motivated enough to que ranked this season though, mainly because i don't enjoy the game like i did when i could play Leona differently.

Runes reforged brought a lot of changes that really prevented Leona from doing anything but being support, but the biggest problem was Adaptive damage. The default to AP completely killed her ability to jungle. But! Riot listened to Leona mains and finally changed her adaptive damage from AP to AD.

WOOHOOOOOO i can play my fav champ in the jungle again.
