My opinion about Ryze rework

From what I can piece together from the reveal, skin spotlight, and voice commands, I love it. His animations have been polished to Season 6 standards, and his spell slinging is much more clearer for both the enemy and the player. Before it just looked as if he were having a seizure rotating between E Q W Q...

But the only thing I don't like is the ultimate. Hear me out, I think the ability itself is cool, interesting, just good in general. But I don't think it belongs on Ryze. It contradicts one of the few bits of his lore that he is a rogue "Though Ryze cares deeply for his fellow men, he must forever remain apart from them". The ability is meant to transport his allies along with him, even though Ryze is a loner. It also has no interaction with his other abilities. This ultimate could work as well on any other champion. For example, Thresh (who even spawns coming out a portal).

Summary: The new ultimate is great, but could be utilized better on somebody else.
