Karma Proposes Changes to her Q

A small proposal to change Karma's Q a little. I drew the suggestion as a skit instead of just typing it out cuz it seemed more entertaining to read that way...and yes, I ripped off hiimdaisy's style for the purpose of this.

So...you want it turned into Starfall?

Nah. People and creeple getting in the way and being meatshields for laners that Karma has to try to work around is pretty intended.

Animation looks cool tho.

This would actually make more sense with her mantra'd Q imo.

If I remember from the lore, Karma summoned the twin dragons in her time of need, so using the idea you have would make sense, as the two shots that are going to the same place could be the twin dragons.

While I do admit the animation looks cool, I think it would further make the ability much more complicated than it is. The last thing I want is another Starcall or Tectonic Disruption where I'm really going to have to rely on the enemy to stand still in order to land the spell. I like how her Q works at the moment. I'm actually good at predicting where the enemy will maneuver towards that I enjoy being strategic with it. I also like the tactical feel of being able to hit in between the minions so the explosion will also hit the enemy trying to hide behind them. It's very rewarding.

I think this idea has potential of being a reworked W for her though. Those two orbs can travel through minions and hit enemy champions to snare them. If both connects on a single enemy, then they will be snared for the full duration. If it hits two different champions then the snare duration is halved. When mantra-ed, if both connects on a single enemy, Karma heals for the full amount. If it hits two champions then she's only healed half the amount of what it is already. Oh and the spell can even be expanded upon. Say when mantra-ed, both orbs has the ability to hit a secondary target. As a result, Karma has the potential to snare up to 4 targets! giving her back one of the aspects of her old kit that was forgotten and that was that all her abilities were AoE!

Her Q should be fan AOE damage spell. And heals with mantra plus percent missing HP

Yeaaaah, as a Karma main, I really wouldn't be excited about this change. I prefer her how she is now. No changes needed.

I don't think her Q I'd the worst part of her kit really. If any skill needed love it's her E. Let it actually shield minions, and bring back the Mantra E explosion XD. Would also be nice if her mantra W always did it's damage(not the heal or root) even if the tether broke. Let's be honest, it's a very unreliable skill in this league of mobility.

That said, she doesn't need all of that. Any one of them would be a nudge that we'd have to let sit a while and reevaluate her, cause she could get too strong.

I want this for her RQ but not for Q, i think it'd be a little to strong to have for her regular q,

but for RQ it'd be great cuz i you could then use it to cut off exits and escape routes without it having to travel max range

This animation cues a thought of the new upcoming 'Lamb & Wolf' champion. Whatever background that champion has I'm going to assume it's something about a balance of forces in the universe. This makes me think karma and the champion Karma and this animation may mimic that champion.

Know what I'm sayin'? :D

I wonder if this thread would have got more up votes if the change was stated for Karma's RQ as opposed to Q. This idea works for Karma's RQ on so many levels.

I like this idea but one of the major weaknesses on karma is that her main source of damage q is sometimes hard to hit right and is easily dodgeable. This would be cool thought but I feel like it would be even harder to pull off. You have to keep in mind that karma isen't only a support champion. I still like the idea though.

I honestly kinda like Q how it is now; if you use it correctly, you can harass enemies that are trying to hide behind caster minions, but at the same time, this would be a great quality-of-life buff to her. Additionally, if they still hit the first enemy they come into contact with, there could be an additional effect, that if the two particle meet, it deals increased damage/slow, making it more rewardin to set up or chase down enemies.

I've always felt that the one thing that would give Karma more depth, would be putting Mantra'd abilities on separate cooldowns. Obviously they'd have to fiddle with numbers, but a tether into a Mantra tether, or double shields would add another dimension of gameplay to her.

Example, starting your W tether, hitting them with a Q, then immediately activating Mantra to fire an additional Q at them. Or using tether, shielding, and then adding a Mantra tether for ultimate CC/counter-heals. Just some thoughts.
