Sometimes, Y'all Just Need To Surrender.
Okay, I get it. Comebacks feel AMAZING. After getting stomped for 35 minutes of the game, they position horribly and a miracle teamfight happens. You come back and you finally win. I understand that sentiment... IN RANKED.
I don't know if it's just me or what, but not every game has to be a come back. Sometimes I'd rather not waste my time. Even if we were to come back, here's the scenario: Winning at the end for 4 minutes, after losing and having a tilting horrible experience for 35. If it's ranked and it's for LP, I understand. But in normal draft? Don't take me hostage. Just let me play the next game. Comebacks aren't always worth it if it feels like crap to be playing for 90% of it. Maybe you don't feel the same way, but norms are a different environment than ranked are and people need to acknowledge that. I'm just trying to practice a champion, and me losing for an extra 20 minutes, even if we end up coming back, wouldn't teach me near as much as just letting me go to the next game. It's super frustrating.
If it's ranked, unless it's a horrible 3/25 scoreline or something crazy like that, I'm not going to surrender until it's over. Because I want the LP. But in normal draft where I just wanna practice different builds for Jax jungle? Don't keep me in the game like that.
The worst part is, part of ranked and even playing norms if you're practicing is learning from your mistakes. And players that end up coming back from huge deficits usually don't look at those games as games they need to reflect and figure out how to play better next time on since they won in the end. If that makes any sense.
