Summon Aerie will be just as good for laning and 1v1, but will reduce his teamfight damage.

But I'd say that having 60% CDR on his ultimate is decent trade.

I'm not too worried. If Karthus becomes UP Riot said they're gonna buff his W most likely and/or revert the old nerf at the very least.
