How fast is the honor system?

Hi, I have a question about the honor system. I played around a 100 games and for some reason I am at 0 check points out of 3 to honor 3. Can anyone explain how long does it take to get honor 5? I dont use in game chat at all, get honored by at least 1 person a game but it still doesnt grow :( pls halp
