Sett feels underpowered...?

(From jungle Sett's perspective, might include top once I play it)

Sett's negatives outweigh the positives, so ill list them first:

  1. Very smooth and satisfying to play
  2. Good clear and early ganks
  3. User-friendly and sticks onto enemies easily
  4. Badass design 100%

Now for the bad parts:

  1. Sett gets kited extremely easily which means you cant even get hold of your opponent (But once you do, its rather easy to stick onto them, but thats relevant to practically any bruiser)

  2. The 2nd punch feels awkward when kiting camps (I believe this will just take some time to get used to)

  3. Incredibly niche pick (Ill cover that later)

  4. Most of his abilities are too "conditional" (W requires enemy to fight back in order to deal dmg and shield and in a gank... well they run, E needs to have 2 units on either side, so its not practical to land stun)

  5. A comparison should give an understanding of how I see things: Sett and Vi These 2 champs were compared often when Sett's abilities were announced and everyone overhyped Sett being a better Vi. Contrary to this, its best to stick to Vi.

Vi at lv.3: CC, Burst, Consistent DMG, Armor Pen, Attack Speed, Mobility, Shielding Sett at lv.3: CC (Semi-Conditional), Burst (Conditional), Shielding (Conditional), Consistent DMG Not to mention the cast range of Sett's ult is MUCH smaller than Vi's ult cast range which means its indefinitely more difficult to catch an opponent and lock them down. And on top of all this, Sett is primarily a tank comp counter (specifically 2+ armor/health tanks) or at least he fits better against those teams. But why pick a champ that gets kited easily and thus becomes a less viable first pick compared to an all-rounded champion that excels at most things and can actually do well against tanks.

I dont know yet if he's OP or UP, but my only experience with him was as an adc where his W (or E?) dealt 650 true damage to me mid game, that was over a 1/3rd of my health, his ult AoE is kinda confusing and pretty big since i feel like im not in the damage zone but he still damages me (probably will take time to get used to).

Congratulations, you now know what a Juggernaut is: Kiteable with conditional damage.

Gotta stop thinking a Juggernaut is gonna perform at all like a Diver (Vi). They serve completely different roles. Vi needs her power frontloaded to allow her to dive in and get things done immediately. Juggernauts are meant to slug through fights via backloaded conditional damage and defense.

sett's not underpowered. i'm iron and even i can play him and go 30+ kills in a match. you're probably just not building him right.

How about let the champ be played about a month before making a thread like this.
