Abilities That Hinder Other Players

There are two champs that I want to discuss - Kalista and Tahm Kench. Why is there no option to refuse/accept their ability to affect the champion you are playing?

  1. [Kalista] links herself to your champoin (Fate's Call) and can use her ult to summon you to her - which can cause you to lose sight of where your character is. Also in bot games she uses this ability when she sees a champ lining up a great attack that will earn some kills (i.e. Miss Fortune) and summons that champ from the spot to launch a successful attack.

  2. [Tahm Kench] can swollow another champion and spit him out where he chooses. This is too often used in bot games to spit him next to an enemy turret.

In bot games there are many groups of 2-4 players that take turns getting all the kills while one or two of them hold back the "outsider" in the game. This is done by either intentional feeding enemy champs in the "outsider's" lane, or not attacking the turret to allow their friend's lane to push faster and draw all the enemy champions there. The worse is the "bot player" that is sent to your lane just to steal farm and get killed.

By giving some way to refuse the bind of Kalista or being swollowed by Tahm Kench, a lot of subtle player harrassment could be avoided.

You mean Kalista instead of Lissandra, right?

Kindred just prevents you from dying, I don't see that as a form of harassment. Maybe Anivia?

Bot games in general need to be looked at more since so many people use them to farm IP while not caring if they win or lose, which isn't fair to all the new players trying to learn how to play the game through these games.

Occasionally I go to bot games to practice a champ and I'm constantly amazed by how many bots or trolls I see.

I had a game on another account where 3 teammates all started boots. One DC'd after like 5 minutes. Another spent his time spam canceling his auto attacks on minions while only doing something if they could steal kills. The other spent his time feeding the mid laner and buying boots, making it difficult for the actual midlaner to win. I was playing Thresh that game, so I immediately started to build to be AD Thresh and tried to defend our towers while trying to explain to my only teammate what we needed to do to win. My teammate was new to the game, and thus didn't quite understand what we needed to do, so I went into splitpush mode instead letting them try to defend. That didn't work out and we ended up losing. Best part is that the two annoying people were a duo who took this play style into normals right after my game, the one continuing to buy all boots and the other rushing boots into Warmog's.

Had another game a while ago where my teammate called jungle and picked Sivir, cleared two camps, bought Bami's Cinder, and then sat in the river bush claiming "I have 500 ping, I can't play." I came by and cleared the Scuttle crab and they immediately relocated to the other rivers bush. I cleared that Scuttle crab and they immediately started flaming me before inting my lane. I was practicing Katarina that game so I honestly didn't care that they did that cause I knew I could 1v5 if needed. I looked at their game history and they had something like 20+ games that they did the same strategy.

It's really frustrating to have to deal with that especially when people are trying to learn how to play. It's hard enough trying to 5v5 let alone 3v7.
