It was a baby nerf - if anything, it hurt her scaling(which isn't a support nerf). On top of this, you guys keep forgetting what the new Sona does. While Sona, individually, may not seem that "dominant" in lane, she also gives her ADC a roid to hit hard. Maxing Q on Sona, with a smart ADC, literally gives you SOOOO much poke and trade potential. Corki + Sona is a very, VERY potent lane(I'm talking level2 all in pretty much any bot lane).
It's not just these particular ones, it's that they have gone on a Sona nerfing spree these past couple of patches, and for no reason whatsoever.
Except Janna can do exactly what Sona's Q does with her shield.
As it stands there's literally no point to picking Sona over any other support, Janna provides a better shield and attack boost then Sona, and Nami does everything she can do, but is just an all around better support then her, the nerfs are just baffling even if they are baby ones, I don't care, I don't play her, but I just don't understand why, she hardly outclasses anyone as it stands.
Riot calls her oppressive, but for most players, she's just free kills in her current state.
Yeah it was small why not another small nerf for no reason next patch? it's not like it's going to make a difference from this patch if her stats are slightly lower

because sequentially she is only a tiny tiny bit worse then her previous patch, stop complaining fuckin Sona players
I'm not angry that they adjusted Sona, I'm mad that there are so many other more pressing balance issues than Sona right now.
It hurt the damage her Q power cord does. It really kind of affects the base damage more than the AP scaling. In addition to all the other nerfs recently, it's not good. Also, Sona's Q on-hit for her ADC is necessary for getting good trades off, and her squishiness and extreme immobility do mean that lanes with a tanky support can easily crush her in an all-in. That's what I don't like about this nerf. She's getting nerfed for being "oppressive", but she's getting nothing to help her with the lanes that are very oppressive to her.
