Ranking and it's issues.

Hello to all!

The strive to be the best, and better yourself is a story that we all try to follow on LoL. We want to show our skills, and need to let everyone know that we have the capability to be great. However, the unfortunate fact of the matter is, not everyone is on the same page. Think of ranks as a book, some love to read it cover to cover, some skip a few chapters to get to a plot twist, and some just look at the prologue and assume they know what it's going to be about. And that's where the issue resides. A vast majority refuses to communicate and even follow the story like they should which can only be beneficial to both them and their future teammates.

I support anyone that wants to get into ranked, but you should be aware of how to play every role to a point along with how to play more than a specific champion in the event the one you wanted gets banned. Even if it's not your greatest one, have knowledge of it, because pick order determines who gets what; and no one wants to be stuck where it's not their strongest position only to be castrated and blamed by their whole team. Sure, it might not be your fault completely that you main mid or top but were forced to jg, or sup, but it is in some form or another, because going into ranked, it's assumed that everyone know more that just two roles with one or two champs in that field..

There needs to be a new ranking system incorporated into the game, due to the fact that not everyone wants to communicate whether it be in the chat room, or in-game; and that lack of communication causes all of us a problem. It literally only takes one person to drag down the whole team, whether by feeding or becoming toxic and taking away game focus and putting it into a very pointless argument based on something that has no validity to what's happening in that moment. Sure, someone might not be doing the greatest, but calling them out, and starting useless negative banter makes one look not only like a terrible gamer, but a terrible person in general. Words are easily spoken, and and only you can control what it is you say and how you choose to react to a negative situation.

Additionally, the loss of LP versus the gain of LP is ridiculous. We shouldn't have to lose more LP in defeat and work ten times harder to gain only a fraction back. It's inconceivable! If I find myself doing the absolute best of my abilities to achieve a better ranking, but I'm unfortunate enough to be teamed with random players who either have no rank experience, or little knowledge of the game in general to the point they aren't sure of what they're doing for their role and then someone decides to spew toxicities to the point of defeat and I was just an innocent in the crossfire... How is it my fault? Should I or others like me really be forced into such unfair situations because some refuse to act like a team...?

I, for the most part, am a positive person and have accountability for my actions in-game and the world around me. I have found myself trying to calm a storm during a match only to be bitten by lightening when someone tells me to "stfu" since I refuse to have crap thrown around rather than everyone focus on what's going on. I love this game, and am going to school for game art & animation. So it saddens me to know that this community lives up and precedes it's unfortunate reputation solely based on the lack luster community....

Please people of riot, help those that want to play like a team succeed. To set an example for those that don't.

(Also, there are champs that could use some major attention to how they still snow ball pretty hard...)
