Placements for ranked

So I just finished placements with my friend who I duoed with the entire time and we won all but one of our games, and in those games we stomped the enemy bot lane. We were bronze last season and we never really tried to climb or anything, but we were really excited this season due to how well we were doing in our placements so after winning our placements we saw we got placed in bronze 4 for me and bronze 5 for him, its really just irritating I know it says that most people get placed lower then what they were last season but I mean come on.
