@Riot my take on Shens rework as a semi-Shen main(i dont hate the rework but it could be better)
I posted this in another thread but wanted to make it its own, so i doesn't get lost in pages of comments
Shen is what I like to consider my Co-main with Yasuo...I really like his new lore with him floating between the earthly and spirit realm and the fact he has 2 blades(the Spirit Blade and Ionian steel Saber) one is used in each realm and how they built up how he actually does his "work"...
so I think the Spirit blade fits Shen EXTREMELY well but the way they implemented that into a play style is alright at best if you ask me..they could have gave him more warrior ninja like abilities than Spirit's Refugee and Twilight Assault, I do like the new passive though
maybe allow him to switch between the blades and give Vorpal's old healing mark passive to spirit blade(Honestly Vorpal's was one of my favorite abilities in the game) and give Ionian Saber something similar to the Old Ki-Strike passive
then have his w be Kalista passive-esqe since Shen jumps between realms... when shen activates it he can blink 3 times(or something along those lines) over a duration in a area around the activation location(were the area is similar to the size of Spirit's Refugee), and maybe gains a shield per blink or something.... i know thats overloaded af but im just giving general ideas, 'm not necessarily saying put all of this in his kit
so he has the kinda Ninja dodgey feel while maintaining his big beefy tank that is the essence of Shen and you still have the in your face fighting style
like something like this brings Shen into present day leagues playstyle and it honors Shens old playstyle WAY better
