Eyelynn's Pre-Rework Form is Completely Unpredictable

Let's start off by saying that 15-20% of my ranked games on my climb back to gold have been decimated all because of the fact that the you have to get SUPER close in order to see Evelynn coming to gank like in melee range(she is about 215 units whenever see her). I don't know if it's just me, but can control wards spot her too(or perhaps sweepers)? I feel like an idiot for asking. It's always been pissing off 95% of all ranked players from bronze and silver just ruining their climbs having them flame each other in their team/party chat. So all I am politely asking is: can her rework be less stressful to deal with? Also, if you were to give me tips versus Evelynn, I thank you for all of it.

She is balanced right now because once you catch her shes dead and shes very vulnerable early and i mean VERY vulnerable. Ez way of telling if shes near you or not. Look at your HP bar % if your above 75% HP your in the safe zone if your the ADC and alone then your not. The lower your HP is the greater the chance she is near you. A good Evelynn player looks at the map and looks at the enemies HP bars at all times.
