I remember watching a video long ago (2014~ I think) about Riot brainstorming Warwick skills and there was mention of a slingshot dash where you'd dash, be there for a second, then dash back automatically. Said something along the lines of it being good for dragon/baron steals. Interesting that they reused that concept.

Riot does that a lot, along with a ton of other companies. It's just design ideas that float around and may not work on one champion but will on another. I remember that WW as well and always thought it was cool so happy to see it back!
