since nidalee is goign through a bunch of changes right now i thought now is a good as time as any to ask.

what is current "intended purpose" of Nidalee traps?

pre-rework her traps did 80 base damage revealed stealthed champs and gave % magic and armor pen and provided vison when placed for scouting post rework her traps did % hp provided vision for scouting,a nd helped her tremendously in her support role vs tankier supports after you threw her into the jungle and removed the % hp traps provided resets for pounce and to root monster then your removed the root and only allowed traps to reset then you removed the pounce reset. and you removed the long range speed buff from passive when you massively decrease its range even an enemy walked over a trap

so.. what exactly am i supposed to use them for now?

they are proced by minions so i cant put them in lane to siege or defend a tower like cait traps i cant spam them all down at once like cait traps. and 99% of the time i cant even pounce in in an enemy steps on one because it would be suicide.

so what exactly is their intended purpose right now?

they do 40 damage and have a .2 ap ratio and they are the LAST skill you level as nidalee because cougar form abilities scale with your R

even at lvl 18, 200+ .2 AP is ABYSMAL for a any skill, let alone one that your enemy has to STEP on.

they quite literally deal less damage than the weakest lvl 1 auto attack in the game.

i have asked this question every time i could and have NEVER gotten an answer. WHY was nid's % hp removed instead of lowering the pre-existing cap on jungle mobs from 200 40/80/120/160/200. wouldn't that accomplish the EXACT same thing?

i mean i figured at the time it was because you were slowing removing all the %hp mechanics but even now with Kled.. you just adding more. why remove the one that has the MOST counterplay of ANY of the % hp
