I like the idea of playing enchanter supports, but...

I hate having so many actives. On Taric specifically, I have FOTM, Locket, and Redemption, in addition to my Q, W, and R abilities, which all are used for protecting an ally. It can get overwhelming, having so many different buttons to press which all do basically the same thing. How bad would it be if I skipped out on building two of the three actives, and build tank stuff instead like Knight's Vow or Iceborn Gauntlet?
