Odd tool-tip in char-select

I am very sorry if this thread already exists. I wanted some information about the following:

In the new game builder I noticed that some players have a icon next to theyre name and on hover, the tool tip says (depending on stats i guess) Honorable opponent, or Great Team-member , basically the honnor stats you get by playing aram,vs ai or pvp.
How does one get this tool-tip, I mean how many "honnor" do you have to obtain for this icon.
Does it help in any way or is it just for show.

I see, I was talking about this:

In the new team-builder, after finding a match, there is yout team on the left side with char picks and on the right sight you only see Summoner 1....5 and a blank rectangular. Every now and then one of those summoners has a little icon next to the left upper corner of the rectangular stating the most honour ratings he has. Thats what I was talking about.

Did anyone notice that?

Honor was introduced a long time ago, so I'm not really sure about what I'm saying, but here's what I understood.

You give and receive honor with the thumb-up symbol at the score screen at the end of the game, right beside the "!" for reports.
You don't need a set number of honors, you need to get honors often enough. E.g., you don't need 50 honors, you need to get honors in more than 25% of your games (random numbers).
It doesn't help, it's just for show. That being said, I personally tend to trust and to listen to advice from people with an honor crest more often.

IMHO, Honor is a half-baked system with too many details hidden under the rug (e.g. your "number of honors" and your "honor value" are not the same thing, you can see only the first one, but only the second one is important).
