Someone please explain to me why i don't deserve fair matchmaking in ranked.

Knowing that almost no important issue gamewise is fixed on this forum, i'll just post this with the hope that by some miracle a decent riot employee that maybe knows how this rock bottom matchmaking system of theirs works explains me a few things. That being said i won't provide the sources of games that made me post, they're on my match history, easy to spot illaoi games 2 in less than 10 games which are perfect examples of total failiure of skill evaluation and matchmaking of the systems you got in place. I hope this thread won't be ignored like my previous one. Edit: don't come at me with cliches like "this is a rant post" "it's you that's the common issue" "learn to carry" or other , I request constructive criticism.

It’s not so much the matchmaking as it is the community of this game has so many people that play ranked that refuse to understand the basics of the game.

No, it's the matchmaking. Positional matchmaking is new this season. They're removing it for higher elos now, since the players complained enough. It's a big problem for lower elos, contrary to belief or the company's data. I have definitely noticed things getting worse in my own matches this season. Last season I had consistently players that were about the same skill level as me. However, the disparity has increased a lot lately, and I've had bronze 3's, bronze 4's, Gold, Plat, etc, in my mid Silver games. I'm sure Gold players are also feeling it. Some people were playing their first ranked game on their account in my Silver games too. This was supposed to be why we're using positional matchmaking I thought, to get players of equal skill in our games, but that's not the case.

I sincerely hope Riot removes positional matchmaking as a whole for all elos, because I'm okay with waiting 3-5 minutes for a game in low elo. I'm not okay with having a consistent lack of quality though just to get in queue faster. It's not right.
