Blue essence and getting new champions

Currently I got like 3 champions (shen, master yi, singed) out of which one i already have (master yi). Earlier we could re-roll 3 champion shards to get a new champion shard which was fine but now we cant even do that. On top of that it will take me a few centuries if I want to buy xayah because these champion shards give 90 blue essence (master yi and singed) which is really stupid considering I have one of the champions already out of those 3. Please consider the blue essence values and also regarding re-rolling champion shards so that people can get something out of those champion shards which we already have. This system feels so weird to buy new champions IP was much better to be honest.
