When someone tells you that you are not a Team Player.
Everyone that plays League of Legends has their own play styles, based on their judgement and the experience they have under their belt. When people try to label you without watching how you play and blame a lost team fight because you aren't there, even if you ping and communicate with messages it happens to be errors or mistakes on both sides. Yes, I probably should've been grouped but typically when my team is behind and the laning phase is still going on, I'd rather tell my team to let the lane that's losing to keep the fed enemy laner there and not grouped to allow the gold deficit to catch up and try to catch up the rest of the game. I play all roles and I typically play mid/top in ranked and I sometimes adc or jungle. I usually win late unless I get camped and even then I always get early pinks and keep 2 on my person, even if i'm not a support. People seem to forget that pink wards are still a thing and rotating trinkets are another. So when I'm 2/0 maybe 3/0 and probably tilting the enemy laner who is trying to ping his jungler to help, we automatically can assume that our jungler should be trying to take an objective or force a numerical advantage in another lane to snowball or help our own feeding lane. I play a lot of tanks top and after killing my laner or forcing their tp, I look to roam and I'm able to either tp back to my lane or force the enemy team off an objective that we can take for free. Sometimes other players are tilted and just want to end their bad laning phase and need to get support from the rest of the team. Feeders are still responsible for their weight and I've fed before in games and managed to come back, purely based off of positioning or communicating with my team on what we need to do and what I need to help me get back in the game. Yes, if I adc I may tunnel vision for farm if our tower is gone, but usually when a tower is gone and the enemy bot is roaming, its dangerous to try to follow if you don't have the proper vision and you're probably behind and can't skirmish in a team fight anyways. I typically win early game but my late game adcs are my strongest point as long as I'm not 0/5 by the time the laning phase is over. People need to understand that scaling or just NOT fighting allows you to catch up and capitalize on mistakes the enemy teams make.
Still I find it hard to believe that I'm not a team player when I usually have the 2nd or 3rd highest assist totals in the majority of my games, in carry roles or not. People need to understand that solo farming is still a thing. Just don't engage or get engaged on. Respect that the enemy team has cc or a stronger team fight if we fight 5v5. Any gold disadvantage that we have only makes the team fight harder for us, and as a result-the one team fight we're forced in, may cost us the game and morale of our team. When my team wins a team fight and perhaps we ace, we typically don't work as a cohesive unit. Not in Solo Queue anyways where half the team tries to shotcall and there is usually always 1 flamer/feeder on a team. I always assume that we can either take a baron, a dragon, or push an enemy turret and maybe an inhibitor depending on the circumstances or how long the respawn timers are. When we ace them and I split bot to distract the enemy as we take the mid towers and inhibitor, I expect my team to either rotate top or take baron when they send 2-3 to stop my push as I get away and distract. Other times, its the opposite and I happen to run to baron and my team goes the other way. I'm not trying to be an asshole but if someone on your team is doing well, making plays, and has the mechanics to carry, let them shotcall. You don't have to do anything but your job or what you're expected to do. Tanks are front-lining or peeling, soaking the damage for the team, and carries are in the back, doing as much dps as they can before going down. Its always situational on who to protect or who to focus, based on the positioning and ability to reach the enemy team's backline.
Overall, a team needs to be communicating with pings or even idle chatter and messaging if necessary to allow your team to make decsions on whats best for everyone and not for the solo player. I've repeated many things but in general you can switch to a solo or sometimes selfish player to make the necessary plays and create pressure for your team to clean up and win overall. On the otherhand, if you roam as the tank with cc top and manage to snowball or help tilt the enemy laners, your team gets the tower gold, the kills, and everyone is in a positive mood and synergizing well. Don't make mistakes you don't have to be. Its okay to let your carry with the majority of the kills farm a side lane as long the enemy team doesn't rush baron or punish you severely. Then, that's your carry's fault and they take the blame. If not, rotate with the fed carry and push the lane out and if the enemy team wants baron or dragon? You should trade a tower or two depending on what your team is. Play however you want, and mix and match the play styles but in the end, the decisions you make can lose/win the game for you and your team.
