I know he wasn't very viable before, but I made him work. Now it is so dysfunctional and counter-intuitive. I FUCKING HATE HIM. His passive is so damn unreliable! I never know if I'll make it to fill it up in time. i never know if I'll make it to keep it up for long enough to trigger the death-dodge. I. HATE. HIM!!!!!! thanks for making me waste my Mastery 6 on him -_-
I can't see how it's fair that Anivia and Zac still have revive passives that are actually passives while Aatrox, who already sucks, gets fked over by making his passive an active.
Unfortunately Aatrox will only get some love in the Pre Season with the Divers update (IF RIOT DECIDES TO). Until then dont bother playing him. As a Aatrox main too this changes only made Aatrox feel even weaker.
Okay, I'm sorry that adding some resource management to Aatrox made the champion too hard for you to use.

At this point Riot should just move his revive passive to his ultimate (dying during ultimate revives him) and just buff his stats, so that he can become the stat check champion that he was designed to be.
Old Aatrox was un-healthy and consequently over-nerfed. New Aatrox is (maybe) weak right now, but he is in a position where he can be actively balanced and brought up to a proper power level. It's incomparably better than the old version.
Also, a fair number of Youtubers and Streamers picked it up after the rework, so I'm pretty sure that he isn't "dysfunctional".
