Chat restrictions

Recently, I got about 82 chat restrictions. I thought to myself that it was justified and decided to play through the restrictions and do my best at not being toxic. Although it happened a few times, I did improve (or so I'd like to believe). However, I recently got another ~70 games worth of restrictions. I'm not sure if the amount of toxicity I showed during my restricted period was 87,5% of what it was before, but it did seem like the amount was excessive compared to last time (when I was disgustingly toxic). Can anyone inform me on how this works? Thanks. I'm kind of afraid that I've fallen prey to the "infinite restriction streak" that I saw a few posts about.

Other than that, I'll try not to speak at all from now on, and see if I get restricted again.
