So I'm a rather new person to league in fact this is my first post, I've really come to express the game-play on term of losing to a point where I've lost 5-10 in a row. Now it not really the losing part that is bothersome it's more of the fact of that one player get more than five kills there seems to be no way to stop the momentum from getting 20 more in a row thus becoming to a point where I can't do a thing like I just die, So this post is asking why do we get penalized for a game already lost, I need to sit there for 20 minutes getting completely farmed. In no way I'm I going to reflect those loses with the game. I'm not targeting anyone it's just we lost, why do I need to get farmed,

You should really learn how to counter somebody snowballing.

For example, if the person who is snowballing is your direct role opponent and they're farming off you in particular, you need to learn how to duel better, manage the minion wave in your favor (minions hurt a surprising amount early game), and how to leverage the lane when you two are even and/or when you're behind.

If the person who is snowballing is your direct role opponent and they're farming off your teammates, you need to know whether your opponent is better off wave clearing (as most mages are) or following/roaming (as many Fighters and Assassins are). It's a lot harder to necessarily stop your laning opponent if they do this, but it's very easy to take something in exchange for them leaving you alone for even a moment.

If the person who is snowballing is not your role opponent and they're farming off you, that's simply a matter of learning how to disengage from enemy ganks or even how to turn ganks all the way around. Learn where's the best place to put your wards and certain tells the opposing laner does that signals that one of their allies is nearby.

If the person who is snowballing is not your role opponent and they're farming off somebody else, you need to gank/countergank them and shut off their snowball before it begins. It's easier to stop a snowball while it's at the top of a hill rather than when it's already huge near the bottom, so you need to learn the signs between whether the other guy just had a bad trade or if he's going to continue losing lane.

And then there's counter building. You absolutely can not not build for the situation. I don't care if you are an ADC, you better build an actual MR item if the enemy Burst Mage is fed. % stats and/or wave clear is your best friend when fighting against fed Tanks. Any items you can buy that either bolsters your burst or your potential to engage on a squishy is godsend against fed carries. It's simply a matter of using the right tools against the right enemy.

Considering how extremely snowbally current meta is, I can't honestly think of a worse time to be a new player in league.

Hiya, welcome to the game! I'd recommend spending the first few levels playing against Intermediate bots until you can confidently and consistently beat them.

As far as needing 20 minutes before surrendering.. well, you can actually still learn a lot from a lost game. Learning how to play from behind is very important. While comebacks are somewhat difficult (as they should be), it is definitely possible. Maybe practice creep-killing under tower, using your spell rotations, positioning in fights, etc. (TehNACHO posted some very awesome things you could try to do to prevent a snowball! See his post below~)

Even if you end up losing the game in the messiest way possible, do your best to learn from it. What could you have done better that game? What can you take away from it? Even in games I win, I'm identifying areas I could have improved upon. Maintain a positive attitude and don't let a disadvantage, or even that red DEFEAT sign drag you down. If after a few deaths you're thinking, "we lost, what's the point?" then the game is definitely lost. If instead you think "how can we possibly win this? Or at least what can I learn from this?" you may end up winning the game, or at the least grow as a player.

Good luck! =]
