MMR problem

I'm a plat V player playing a smurf. After an incredibly unlucky loss streak of 13 losses back to back on an account that was ranked gold V at that time my mmr dropped alot. Since then I gain about 13 lp for a win and lose about 25. Sounds all fair right? But the thing is after a win streak of 8 games my mmr is still the same. I don't get anything extra. I since then after demoting to silver cause of the loss streak climbed back into gold gaining fucking 14 lp a win and yet still its not good enough to up my MMR? I've been playing in low gold V now cause of the unforgiving points system. I can go 6 wins 3 losses in 1 sitting and still be at 0 LP. How does winning 6 games and losing 3 in this elo give me silver 3 MMR??? expecially seeing I play decent to really well in every single one of the games. It's absolutely rediculous.

I've noticed similar stuff really in all ELO's but i think its most prevelant between silver/gold b/c there are so many players there. It seems like its much easier to tank your mmr on a loss streak but way harder to bring it back up.

Its pretty cancerous, Imo its b/c riot wants to force the grind, b/c the more people they have consistently playing games the better their stats #'s look compared to other games.
