Okay , it's been happening over and over again. I want to practice my gameplay in normal games (I main support) so i can have a greater chance at winning my ranked games. Going to pay ranked when I think I've improved and deserve a higher rank. HOWEVER, the current machmaking system has been upsetting me over and over again. My current MMR ir 1,438 i'm a G5. But my latest macth teams mmr was 1103. which means both teams consisted of unranked/bronze/and silver. And that was increadibly visible in the gameplay of both teams members. If I was playing a hard dmg carry I would probably not complain, I would feed myself and reck everyone. However I'm unlycky in this situation because I main Janna... This happens the other way arround. RANKED game where teams: 3 unranked players+g5+g3 VS s1+g5+g3+g3+p5 where one of unranked players had only 37 wins at all. This could be a long rant, but all in all, I would rather wait for longer queue time and play in smaller rank-gap than what it is now

MMR from other websites is not accurate because playing in groups messes with it. It's impossible to actually know someone's MMR, so you can't judge if it's properly balanced based on team mmr. You also need to remember the MMR penalty FOR playing in a group. These things factor in. It may still be unbalanced, but you can't just look at the MMR that a site tells you and assume it's correct.

You can't brag if your MMR in ranked is Gold if you barely played any rank matches. Your normal MMR level is Silver 4. All I can say is play rank and rank up to get paired with higher elo players.

If you're being placed against low MMR people, than it means you have low MMR for normals.

ikr. my games are infested with high gold-plat players. Im bronze fucking 2. kills the fun.

idk i wish my normal mmr wasnt as high

i play normals to unwind, i don't want to be playing with high diamond/master tier, its tedious af

Just the unfortunate reality. Gold+ players tend to play less normal games, even less in plat, and almost non-existent once you get to diamond 4 or higher.

this is one reason i REALLY miss teambuilder

because when i CHOOSE the game before i went into a game it, knew how good i was at that champ.

now that i play only unranked i play pretty much just my mains. when i used to only really do unranked to warm up for my first match and to play new champs.

becuase of MOST of my unranked games being on trying new things and experimenting in season 4 and 5 my MMR was MUCH lower unranked than it was ranked.

now that ranked is worthless and i only play unranked

my UNRANKED MMR is MUCH higher.. so when i DO try to play new champs. it places me ve people who while i might still easily be able to beat on my main.. i dont stand a chance in hell vs when its my first time with the champ in a non-bot game
