Nasus vs AP Shaco

I found this a rough lane, perhaps it was because they got an early infernal and he got fed a few times by my team. I actually killed him once and thought "that's it, I've outscaled" but then he seemed to outscale me!!!!! Any advice for this lane? Shall I play like a pussy for 20 mins in this lane?
