Kalista in game clarity issues?

Kalista has always been one of my fav champs since she has come out. Her unique play style is so different from every other champion and she really brings a lot to the team.

One issue I've been having with her is that I often misjudge when my e will kill a unit. This often messes up my laning phase because I depend on my e to get majority of my farm and often I totally mess up team fights because I thought my e would kill a unit but instead it just goes on cd

Would it be too op if there was a little indication that your e would execute a target (much like cho gath ult or garen ult)? Maybe riot thinks it would be too strong if she could see if it would kill a target, maybe part of her intended play style is to choose between using the e or to risk sending another spear into them. I'm interested to see what you guys think and if it would be too strong if she could see what target would die

Also I'd love to see maybe a counter of how many spears you rip from them after you use the e. It'd be pretty satisfying

I personally believe even Cho'Gath's and Garen's ultimates shouldn't have indicators. It reduces the skill floor and cap for both champions—just like with auto-attacks and, for example, Lux's, Orianna's, or Jinx's ultimates, the lack of indicator means that players must master estimating how much damage they will deal given the enemy's MR/Armor, HP, your own AP/AD, etc.

And after all, it would be rather unbalanced for one, two, or three champions to have such an in-game advantage. Adding one to that number makes it no more balanced; it either needs to be implemented for various abilities across the board, or removed entirely. I would opt for the latter, seeing as having such indicators reduces the skill required to last-hit and land killing blows on champions.

All of this to say: no, I don't think she should have an indicator like that. If you're consistently or with high frequency misjudging your ability, that just means you need more practice, not that the game should be made easier. After all, you are very likely higher in skill with her than most players (since most players don't play her). Would you really want to have random first-time Kalistas successfully doing that which you've spent hours attempting to perfect? I certainly wouldn't want to see a first-time Lux knowing exactly when her ultimate will kill an enemy—I take pride in knowing how much HP my ult will take off of the enemy simply from experience with the champion, and when I misjudge? Just another learning opportunity.
