@Meddler The state of Ahri, Fizz and other mobile assasins.

After the Leblanc and Zed nerf it got me thinking. Is Ahri and flashy champs like Fizz getting nerf on their mobility soon? Would be awesome if you guys can reply.

We're putting a bit of power back into Zed and Le Blanc in 5.16, in both cases partial reversions of the previous nerfs, they got hit harder than intended.

5.16 also includes an overall nerf to Ahri's passive (same healing at level 1 and level 16, less healing at the levels in between though).

Fizz we're still talking about. He's a possible candidate for work in 5.17, depends in part on how 5.16 goes though and how the state of the game does or doesn't change.

From the end of S3 patch 3.13, Ahri's healing was changed from spell vamp to heals 2 + (1 * level) + (9% AP) per enemy hit by the empowered ability.

So in the upcoming 5.16 patch passive healing is being nerfed again... Which is why i personally use flask, because of the original healing nerfs.

Which means her healing at levels [1/6/11/16] which is [3/8/13/18] is being changed to Essence Theft (Passive) healing changed to [3/5/9/18 at level 1/6/11/16] from [2 + (1x Level)]

So i did some further calculations on her loss of healing if she were to hit 6 enemies(Basically a minion wave).

Just hitting 6 minions for sustain with orb, since she can't W-Q for that spell vamp sustain anymore is adjusted to the following,

  • levels [1/6/11/16] - [18/30/54/108] compared to her current healing of
  • levels [1/6/11/16] - [18/48/78/108] Which also means she misses out on 120 passive healing lvl 18.

This is not including the 9% AP scaling healing ratio.

If the 9% scaling ap ratio is taken away, (I'm doing calculations from a build i tend to run on Ahri with item 3165 item 3089 item 3135 item 3285
at lvl 16 setting) just with AP from runes and items not including masteries, but including the rabbadans boost. 380 Ap(items) + 25 AP(scaling blues) which is boosted to about ~546 AP at lvl 16. Which is essentially a ~49 healing bonus at lvl 16. So at lvl 16 she should be obtaining ~157 heal if she hit 6 minions opposed to 108. That's also not including the lack of sustain she losses lvl 2-5, 7-10, 12-15,17-18.

Overall a disgusting nerf that's not needed. Her lvl 16 healing is basically a free insant health pot. Early on in the game it's a very small fraction of that.

If Riot does not want Ahri to heal with a passive, then can you rework her passive todo something else then? Rather than jipping her with a now horrible passive that doesn't even have comparable stats to before.

Who cares about Ahris mobility? Would you rather it be replaced with some kind of "murder death" ult? It's meant to position yourself quickly for a Q, and then go back. It's a cohesive kit that synergizes with itself

Leblanc: 150 MS back on W

Zed: .5 second reduction on Ult shadow swap delay

Ahri: Passive nerf

Fizz: ??????

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Can we get a heads up on the state of Ekko and Kassadin too?

I think that ap fizz is in a balanced state now, he's one of the champions that I have the most fun playing. He's only strong if you know what you're doing and he only really face rolls in low elo. If you know how to play fizz and play around him, he's really not a problem. The problem is that people don't understand you can't just do the same shit over and over again and expect to win. Low elo people have a tendency to do the exact same combos at the exact same time, which make them really easy to dodge with fizz. If I'm playing against a lux and she blows her entire spell rotation off right when I q to her every time, then of course I'm gonna e then and all her damage is void. Instead of realizing this though, most people will just do the same thing and then cry that fizz is OP instead of looking what they did wrong and thinking about their actions. If you just wait till he blows his e and use your spells then, then he is fucked. People never acknowledge that maybe their opponents have skill, its always that the other champ is OP.

Ahri is in a fairly balanced state as well, she's a mid range mage that trades high damage for mobility. Sure she has three dashes with her ult and movement speed with her q but look at other mid range mages. For example look at the raw damage from viktor, he absolutely deletes people and the damage on his beam is sickening. Ahri has nothing like that, she has trouble 100-0 anyone even in the late game. Unless you're really fed, you can hit a full combo and not even kill an adc without ignite and an ult charge or two. You don't get that kind of lee way if you get hit from a full combo by viktor or leblanc, you're absolutely deleted.

Hey meddler. ive noticed you have not talked in the kass threads. But i do believe that a healthy mid lane also goes with healthy anti mages. And him having the tools to fight them well at any stage of the game, even with his trade offs will make it easier to balance.

I think you should TRY to remove his Q shield, add his scaling MR and give him a 1sec silence. (in a playtest) See how it goes. Its a soft CC that wouldnt really bother non casters that much since they usually can use their escape before Q lands, or go in since he would be in range of their AA or gap closer. It would do its job very well versus casters however without being overbearing.

Perso i only got a prob whit Fizz. Ahri is strong but rarely do every thing. Fizz is low risk high reward.
