i think we should have a log out button. There are a lot of players in League that have smurfs and it would be better for them to just log out easily rather than closing the client and opening it up again. i would love to have a log out button.

People have been asking for a logout button since before season 1. The initial excuse we got was that it wasn't possible with the current client (I think it was an adobe air issue?). Then when we got a new client, we didn't get any response. Then when we got a new client, we didn't get any response.
It's obviously just something that Riot will never do and we don't know why.
