Removal of Dominion

I've honestly hit the roof of my anger/frustration regarding Riot and their decisions in these past few months and when I got on today to see the news of their decision to remove Dominion I just sighed. Let me just say I don't play Dominion like there's no tomorrow, but it is the mode I strongly enjoy once I've grown temporarily tired of Summoners rift. As I formed my thoughts on this decision, I went through the comments and found a perfect comment made by player - Minarde and I thank him/her so much for their comment because it perfectly sums up the issue here and Riot needs to see this comment and respond.

**No one plays Dominion because you've never given us a reason to play Dominion. No ranked, no accolades, no Champ Mastery, nothing. Even balance updates were few and far between. The only reward those of us who became decent at the map ever got was longer queue times.

Every year, you assured us that you were discussing the issue. Every year, barely anything happened. Over the past five years, we've lost existing players to neglect, potential players to ignorance, dev support to other teams, and even our little corner of the boards to redesigns, but we've always had our home map. Regardless of whether we were active players or not, we still felt a bond through the Crystal Scar. And now we've lost that too.

What next? Is Twisted Treeline going to be removed as well? You specifically mention ARAM as a healthy map and yet you rarely pay any attention there either. Why try to fool us about "supporting alternate experiences" when it's increasingly obvious that Summoner's Rift is the only experience you care about?**
