learning player in need of help.

So like, I am not the 'newest' player on the block, been playing off and on (and very casually) since season 2 or 3 (can't remember exactly). Along with those years, I stuck to top and support roles, not really venturing out into new places. Well now, I want to learn jungling! So I qued for good ol fashioned Normal (draft) and was like "this is a good place to learn!" I picked Mundo, had all my notes, of which buffs to get when going places, buy orders for whatever comps i was facing, and all that jazz. I made sure that all the lanes were doing nice too! but.. this Heim top died once,,, then twice.. all when I wasn't in the top jungle. Now, as a starting jungler, I took concern. I started to camp there more, warding for him so he would know but in the end, he kept dying, and not only that, he blamed it all on me. This in turn let the enemy jungler to snowball, and just broke the entire game.

Point is.. I really want to learn how to play this role, because I don't want to be a one trick pony and just only do support or top , but if I go in bots, you don't learn at all, go into norms, and people become cancerous and tell you to either die, uninstall, or that everything is their fault. is there ANY way I can improve on this? or was any of it my fault ?
